So what have we been up to lately? Well... Settling into the new house nicely and have started to finish the basement. Spent most of each day over the last week putting up the framing and making a mess. Had the help of a professional engineer ... aka Dad... For a week to come up with better solutions for problems that I thought I had solved. More some ducts. Rerouted some wires. Reran some plumbing. Almost ready to run wiring and then it's on to the fireplace and built in shelving before drywall... Looks like a lot done but now it's time for slow, thought requiring work... I'll keep you updated on progress.

Got that Feeling...
... of being Canadian!!!!
Got the all from the Battys about a Pod Hockey Party and were there in a flash. Complete with Shovelling Breaks like the Winter Classic... Always fun getting out to play in the fresh air and hard ice... A good reminder about the influence of cracks in the ice and Snow Boards...

Top of the Year to Ya...
The start of another year is the start of another chance and another change... A chance to move forward and improve and changes to schools, goals and life. We Cheers-ed 2014 with a Ski Day, some hot tub beverages and some noise makers.... And a bit of a headache from the excitement. Hope your plans for Chance and Change in '14 are all positive!!!

A Classic
Rather than spending time as a couple celebrating our 12th anniversary, we decided to spend 3 days in the hockey arena while Luke played in the Whitby Holiday Classic tournament. A great chance for the Team to "gel" and the boys did really well. Luke played well finishing with 2 goals and 5 assists over the weekend. The Team finished 1st in our pool after regular play and then a strong showing in the Semi's got the Team to the Finals on Sunday morning. They played well and had a lot of chances but didn't have enough fuel on the fire to chase back from a close 3-2 deficit but we're quite happy with their success and work. Congrats to the Whitby Orange Crush on their play!!!
Now we just have to re-do our anniversary...
